I checked out the Shining Path show last night. It was in a duplex and the band was setup in the kitchen, so it was essentially about 40 people stuffed into a duplex jamming out, I managed to find a spot to get some pictures, but due to lighting and my not so amazing camera it was lacking on picture quality. The show was great, and the people there were cool, I left early to meet up with some other friends before going home and calling it an early night. This Friday I am heading out to Santa Barbara, a local bar, to check out “Kill The Music” which is Montgomery’s first dub step dance party apparently.
Not that it is new or anything. But listening to the band tonight put me in the music mood. Checking out my myspace I realized its been a while since I had heard my profile song “John Ralston – Gone Gone Gone.” Good music, people change and girls change mainly. This is kind of an ode to change and where it leaves us. Check out the music and also check back tomorrow for a few photos from the backyard show that went on tonight, and while you are at it follow me on twitter.
I went out to a dance party @ the independent called TKO. For seven bucks and a pre-game party you can’t really beat it. Especially around these parts where you don’t have much to do. I even got my friend Greg to head out there with me, even though he immediately walked outside after he saw how everyone was dancing, which was almost worse then my dancing. Good Friends, Pre-Game Party, and Winning at flip cup against a team of girls, we even took it easy on them.
Tonight, I am going to a show setup in a backyard, I will be snapping some pictures for the blog and maybe a video clip of the band playing, hopefully they will be good. Looking forward to the next TKO, that is actually this friday.
Welcome to my blog, I am Nicholas Pruett. Chances are at the start of this if you are reading it you already know me. Creepers. I will also be talking about various things dealing with my work, for the internet community, like how I rank the websites in google. People always ask me about my job and how I go about doing what I do, so maybe you will learn something. I will also be taking more pictures now since I just picked up a new charger for the camera I have. So you can see what I am up to every night.
Until then, follow me on twitter, and check back for some posts about what is going on.
